Accident on Lagos-Ibadan expressway claims 3 lives


An accident which occurred on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway has claimed 3 lives while some others sustained injuries.

The accident occured yesterday, Friday on the expressway.

A Toyota Sienna vehicle having a registration number of BDG 426 HT and a DAF truck were involved in the accident.

The sienna vehicle crashed into the truck which was coming out of a trailer park.

Mrs Florence Okpe who is the Public Education Officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Ogun state confirmed this accident.

She confirmed this to the newsmen in the state. She revealed that the accident took place around Total Petrol Station on the expressway.

She revealed that there were 7 adults, 4 males and 2 females in the accident. There was also a child involved.

She revealed that the accident happened due to the sienna excessive speeding.

They took the injured victims to the Isaara General Hospital for medical treatment. They also deposited the corpses at the FOS Morgue, Ipara.
