A group of Ajayi Crowther University students beats their colleague Alex to death for stealing a phone that belongs to one of them.
It was gathered that the student Alex, was beaten from 10 pm on Friday till 6 am on Saturday, after he was caught stealing. Apart from stealing the phone, the student also transferred some money from the phone to another account number. Alex was thrown out of the hostel on Friday evening and his dead body was found the next morning.
The school management has planned to rusticate the students for their involvement in their colleague's death. In a video making the rounds online, the students were captured beating Alex after stripping him unclad. They could be heard saying, "harder, harder" as they continued beating him.
