Nollywood actor Funsho Adeolu has stated that any actor who pursues a political ambition is never truly an actor.
Funsho Adeolu said this during a recent interview with Teju Babyface. Funsho Adeolu said a good actor shouldn't run for political office because it influences their beliefs. He affirmed that once an actor dives into politics, he is no longer a person of moral standard because politicians are not good people.
Citing an example, Funsho Adeolu said he no longer considers Lagos State Senator Desmond Elliot an actor. He mentioned that these actors-cum-politicians are not concerned about actors' welfare or their well-being.
"An actor cannot be a politician. I don't consider him (Desmond Elliot) an actor. An actor is supposed to be a good person. When you run for politics, you are not good again", he said.
