Auto crash on Abeokuta-Sagamu expressway leads to the death of 3 clerics


An Auto crash which took place on Abeokuta-Sagamu expressway has led to the death of 3 clerics.

The cause of the accident was a driver who was sleepy and lost control while driving.
The victims who died were Christian clerics. The incident had occurred on Saturday.

The Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement (TRACE) Corps have confirmed this accident. They revealed that the crash occurred around 9:44am yesterday.

The spokesman of this corps, Babatunde Akinbiyi, revealed that the accident involved a black Kia Rio car and a white Sino truck.

The crash had been caused by a driver who was sleepy and also overspeeding and loss of control.

The car had skidded to the other lane of the road, went over the median, crashed into a street lamp and then crashed into the sino truck.

The impact of the truck lead to the death of 3. 7 men were involved in the accident and 3 died. 2 others were injured while the rest unhurt.

They took the victims to the State Hospital, Ijaiye in Abeokuta.
