Buhari travels to Saudi Arabia

The outgoing President of Nigeria, president Muhammadu Buhari is set to travel to Saudi Arabia today, April 11, 2023.

According to his office, the trio is for an official visit

The Presidents trop is to last for 8 days in Saudi Arabia. He is expected to perform Umrah, the lesser pilgrimage.

This is his last trip to Saudi Arabia as the president of Nigeria.

Recall that the elections which were held last month had Bola Ahmed Tinubu of The All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner and President-elect.

He would be sworn in on the 29th of May and Buhari will leave the office after completing 2 terms as president.

It was his Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, who released this statement on Monday, April 10, 2023.

He mentioned that the president would be accompanied by his aides.

We learnt that president Buhari has visited more than 40 countries as the President of Nigeria, some of which are foreign trips.
