An Anambra student, Ejikeme Mmesoma was announced as the top scorer for this year's 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)with a high score of 362.
Few days ago, it was brought to notice by the exam board that she allegedly inflated her result from a total score of 249 to 362 making her the top scorer in the exam.
The board has decided to take further actions to penalize her by withholding the result because she fraudulently manipulated her result for recognition.
Apparently, she got various recognitions from corporate individuals of which Anambra State government and Innoson motors was part of them. This however, got her a scholarship of 3m Naira from the founder of Innoson motors, Chief (Dr.) Innocent Chukwuma.
Though she made a video on social media yesterday describing the situation as traumatizing, saying she didn't forge her result.
Yesterday, a businessman Gaius Chibueze popularly known as Bitcoin Chief took to his Twitter handle to declare support for Mmesoma, announcing that he is willing to sponsor her education in any of the three countries of the world; USA, UK, and Canada.
