Portable's ex-signee Oluwabamishe Abioro popularly known as Young Duu reiterates that comedian Joseph Oderhohwo aka Carter Efe didn't pay him any money for their hit single 'Oyinmo'.
Recall that Carter Efe and Young Duu partnered on a track titled 'Oyinmo' in 2023 after his contract under Portable's record label Zeh Nation was terminated. In an interview with Hip TV, Young Duu revealed that Carter Efe ghosted him after they shot the 'Oyinmo' music video. Four months later, he reached out to him and the comedian asked him to send his account details for N500K.
Young Duu said he granted the interview to reveal the truth behind his and Carter Efe's relationship and how he talks down on him despite owing him his royalties. Young Duu said most people think he made millions from music when he doesn't even have a dime. Despite their fallout, Young Duu said he'd choose Carter Efe over Portable because he is more connected than his former boss.
