The Federal High Court of Lagos has ordered the Federal Government to fix the prices of goods and petroleum products within 7 days.
As citizens of Nigeria are seriously lamenting about the cost of foodstuffs and other commodities, Justice Ambrose Lewis Alagowa of the Federal High Court granted the order following a motion filed by renowned lawyer and activist Femi Falana.
The judge ordered the FG to fix the cumbersome price of milk, salt, flour, sugar, and petroleum products. Femi Falana urged the Price Control Board to fix the prices of these commodities with immediate effect to reduce the high cost of living.
