Aproko Doctor has advised people against buying a particular soap known as Crusader. He said that the soap contains medically harmful chemicals that have made it a threat to humans's health.
He stated that the soap has been banned in Nigeria because it contains Mercury. Its scent stays on the skin until the next day which many would love, but medically, it is doing more harm than good.
Aproko Doctor also said, "The soap has a lot of Mercury in it. What does Mercury do to the body? It can affect your skin, your brain, your internal organs, especially your liver. Because mercury doesn't just stay on the skin, it seeps in and then goes to affect these organs."
He also advised people against purchasing organic soaps from people uncertified skin care vendors who mix harmful chemicals in their soaps.
