Mr. Godwin Obaseki swore in 15 commissioners at the inauguration that took place at Government House, Benin City. He implored each one of them to contribute positively to the administration and improve the economic condition of the state.

The new commissioners are:​

3. Kingsley Uwagbale
4. Christopher Nehikhare
5. Uyi Malaka
6. Joshua Omokhodion
7. Ojiefoh Donatus and
8. Monday Osaigbovo
9. Isoken Omo
10. Christabel Ekwu
11. Patrick Uanseru
12. Dr Joan Osa-Oviawe
13. Stephen Idehenre
14. Oluwole Osaze-Uzzi
15. Samuel Alli


Governor Obaseki further expressed his appreciation towards the Executive Council members that have worked diligently to ensure the progress of his administration and urged the new commissioners to perform their duties.
