Die-hard fans of Nigerian singer Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun popularly known as Wizkid have organized a peaceful walk in honor of the singer's late mother.
The singer's mother passed away in her London residence on the 18th of August after battling an undisclosed illness.
Wizkid and his immediate family are currently in Lagos for the final burial ceremony of their mother. The candlelight procession held yesterday 11th October 2023.
In a video trending online, fans of Wizkid were captured on the streets of Lagos holding a peaceful walk in honor of their favorite singer's mother. They were seen carrying the photo of late Mrs Morayo Balogun as they marched around the streets.
Mrs Morayo Balogun was born on 4th July 1957 and passed away on 18th August 2023 at age 66. She was survived by four children, Yetunde Balogun, Olubusayo Balogun, Omolara Osunkoya and Ayodeji Balogun (Wizkid). She was survived by nine grandchildren.
