The first lady of the United States, Jill Biden has tested positive for COVID-19.
This was confirmed yesterday after the First Lady developed mild symptoms. Though her husband President Biden has been tested negative.
The White House also confirmed that the 72-year old lady has been vaccinated and put in isolation at their home in Delaware county.
Joe Biden, however, has been placed on strict monitoring and will be running tests from time to time in case he catches the virus.
Biden has been instructed to always wear nose masks for protection and also distance himself from others both indoor and outdoors.
Though, the US president is expected to be at the Group of 20 (G20) summit in India which will take place on 6th September, 2023.
