Funmi Awelewa reacts to the death of actor Sisi Quadri
Famous Nollywood actress Funmi Awelewa has reacted to the death of her colleague, Sisi Quadri, who passed away yesterday. Just like the rest, Funmi found the pill a hard one to swallow due to the relationship she shared with the deceased. These two had starred in the same entertaining movies, which garnered millions of views and earned them more fans. While reacting to the death of Sisi Quadri, Funmi wrote in the Yoruba Language, "Osan ja. Orun di opa. Haa eleyi poo eledua shaanu mi." This translates to "This pain is unbearable, God, a great talent has gone."
Sisi Quadri whose real name was Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji was one of the funniest Nollywood actors to ever grace the movie industry. He was aged 44 and died of repeated hiccups which is medically known as an Involuntary spasms of the diaphragm. It was a dark Friday in the movie industry as colleagues mourned the loss of one of theirs.
