Former President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan has mourned the death of Nestor Binabo who was the former acting Governor of Bayelsa State.

Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was the president of Nigeria between 2010 to 2015. He has expressed his sympathy and sadness over the death of Nestor Binabo who passed away few days ago.

He shared his condolence message to the family of the deceased and the government of the State yesterday through Ikechukwu Eze who is his media advisor.

He shared that the late Binabo will be missed by all. He also prayed for comfort for the family.

Nestor Binabo was the Former Acting Governor of Bayelsa State. He was also a one-time Speaker of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly.

He passed away last Thursday in Abuja. He died in a hospital after battling with a disease which wasn't made known.

It was one of his sons who confirmed the death of Mr Binabo last week
