Governor of Jigawa State appoints SSG and others
The Governor of Jigawa State, Umar Namadi has appointed the secretary to the State Government (SSG) and some others.
He announced this appointment on Wednesday.
It was the state head of service who signed the statement which announced the information of this appointment. The head of service in Jigawa is Mr Hussaini Kila.
Umar Namadi is the current governor of Jigawa State. He is a politician and an accountant. He was the deputy governor of the state between 2019 and 2023 before resuming office as the governor.
He also happens to be the 5th governor of the state.
The new Secretary to the State Government (SSG) is Bala Mamser. He used to be the commissioner of information, youth, sport and culture.
He also appointed the Chief of staff who is Mustapha Kiyawa. He alsk appointed Adamu Garun-Gabas as his principal private secretary.
The governor also announced the appointment of Abdullahi Shehu as the accountant-general, and also Habib Ubale as the executive secretary of the Jigawa State Youth Empowerment/Employment Agency.
These announcements came a day after he had been sworn-into office as governor.
