Today, President Bola Tinubu swore in 45 ministers to the Federal Executive Council (FEC) and warned them to withdraw themselves from anything that has to do with tribalism and sectionalism as they are appointed Ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and not elected as Regional or States Ministers.

The swearing-in happened in the Presidential Villa and had in attendance the Vice President of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima; Senate President Godswill Akpabio; Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume; and Chairman of the Nigerian Governors Forum who is also the Governor of Kwara State, Abdul Rahman AbdulRazaq.
