How a club owner stopped me from seeing Burna Boy, Kogbagidi recounts
Sometime last year, Kogbagidi was stopped by a club owner from seeing the Afrobeats singer Burnaboy. All the efforts and convincing he made to be allowed into the VIP section of the club failed until he bribed one of the bouncers to report to Burnaboy that he was around.
After a few minutes, Burnaboy walked down with the bouncer with excitement written all over his face. The Afrobeat singer screamed Kogbagidi's name and they embraced right on the spot. Burnaboy then told the club owner that Kogbagidi was one of his guys who shouldn't be denied entry into his section. After the brief introduction, they walked upstairs together and the club owner ensured that he received the VIP treatment, making him feel relaxed.
