Nigerian superstar Ahmed Ololade popularly known as Asake reveals how his label boss Olamide advised him to leave his girlfriend after he became a star.
According to Asake, he had a girlfriend he dated before his big break in 2022. After he got his first paycheck, he told his then-girlfriend how much he was paid and gave her a sum of N2M. Surprisingly, she rejected it because it was too small and she deserved more than that.
Feeling disappointed by her actions, he sought the help of Olamide who advised him to break up with her and give his mother the money instead. Asake said his mother used the N2M to start a provision store. Asake added that his mother no longer calls him for financial aid because the business is booming.
