Following Bolanle Ninalowo's split with his wife, Yul Edochie decided to advise anyone who cared to listen to his view on marriage. He said although marriage is beautiful, it doesn't mean it won't crash. Dating someone for 10 years does not mean the marriage would last a lifetime because there is no formulate to it.

However, Nigerians believe that Yul is in no place to advise anyone about marriage. That's because of the issue between him and his first wife, May Edochie. People wouldn't stop slamming him at every opportunity they get for his past actions. In fact, they strongly advise people against taking Yul's marital advice because of his failed marriage.
