Popular skitmaker Carter Efe has revealed that he charges five million naira per advert on his social media handles.
He revealed this while speaking to Tacha of Cool FM on the Big Friday Show last week.
Tacha asked him what he thinks about the misconception people have about skitmakers and content creators doing shady business aside from their major field.
Carter Efe said he makes money through his social media accounts including Facebook and he also runs ads for brands.
When he was asked the highest amount a brand has ever paid for an advert, he said he has once charged N5m for a video.
He also spoke about how he went viral for making a skit about Wizkid calling himself Machala and how he made the nickname out of it and became a part of his brand.
He talked about meeting Wizkid in Landmark Centre in Lagos after his viral hit Machala. He said he met him briefly for just a few seconds. Unfortunately, there was no time to hold a conversation with him.
