A leaked phone conversation of Mohbad's father has caused quite an uproar amongst Nigerian internet users. In the conversation, Mohbad's father confirmed that the deceased was maltreated by Naira Marley. However, he believes that Naira Marley cannot go the extra mile to kill Mohbad.
While speaking on the phone, Mohbad's father said, "Nairamarley only showed Mohbad that he was his senior. That's all I can decipher from this matter. Mohbad doesn't listen to me. Naira Marley and I have discussed a lot concerning him. We got in contact over 1 year ago. Even though I tried reaching out to Nairamarley after we spoke, I couldn't reach him because he isn't easily accessible."
Mohbad's father continued, "Naira Marley isn't a bad person. Even though he and Mohbad had issues, I don't believe he would have wanted him dead." This leaked phone conversation further triggered the annoyance of Nigerians as they labeled Mohbad's father an irresponsible man.
