Nigerian singer David Adeleke popularly known as Davido has revealed that he made an expensive frog pendant for himself because netizens call him Frog on Twitter.
Davido got the nickname Frog years back when Wizkid tweeted about him having a froglike voice. This was during their popular internet beef. Afterwards, netizens adopted the name and used it on Davido at any chance they got.
In a recent interview with GQ, Davido flaunted his expensive jewelry collection sharing how much he cherishes them. Davido flaunted his Patek, a Rollie, Two Rolexes and the Timeless neckpiece. Sharing the story behind the Timeless piece, he explained that he decided to celebrate his Grammy-nominated album by making a hourglass jewelry which represents patience to him. He stated, "I feel like every blessing that I've gotten through this album has a lot to do with me being patient, and knowing that everybody has their time and God will bless them."
Davido also shared his DMW piece which had his daughter's face on it. Getting an honourable mention, he flaunted his Frog neckpiece saying, "I made a frog chain because my voice is hoarse and they were calling me a Frog on Twitter."
