I met my wife when I wasn't rich, Davido reveals
In a recent interview, Nigerian singer Davido disclosed that he met his wife, Chioma, when he didn't have any money and wasn't famous. He met her a long time ago when he was still a struggling artist and this made him know that the bond they share is genuine. Davido added how one of his rich friends wishes to have a woman in his life. He said this friend of his is super rich but isn't married because every girl out there does not love him for who he is. They only love him for his money and that kind of love isn't genuine.
Davido said If he hadn't met his wife before wealth and fame, he wouldn't be able to trust any woman who claims to love him now because he would automatically believe it's all because of his money.
