Popular comedian Nasiru Lawal also known as Nasboi has revealed that he mimicked singer Davido to get attention for his music and not to promote his skits as people presumed.

In a recent interview with Hip TV, Nasboi revealed that he was once signed as a musician to Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde in 2014. He said he also delved into photography in 2018. One day, he made a random video mimicking Davido. The video went viral instantly as soon as he posted it on his Instagram page.

The Umbrella crooner mentioned that he mimicking Davido was a deliberate attempt to promote his music to the world.
