Popular on-air personality Ifedayo Olarinde popularly known as Daddy Freeze stated that he prefers having old greedy politicians in power than a young person like Beta Edu in government.
The news of the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Beta Edu involved in a N585M fraud has been a trending conversation among Nigerians since last week. The 47-year-old radio host also joined in the conversation and gave his opinion on the matter.
Daddy Freeze stated that it is quite disturbing that 37-year-old Dr. Beta Edu has been apprehended for embezzlement of funds barely 6 months after her appointment. "I'd rather have an old thief who understands the system than a young person who will just steal the system senselessly.", he stated.
Daddy Freeze expressed that he would rather have President Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar, or Peter Obi in power than be governed by a young person. He stated that former president Muhammadu Buhari is far better than a Nigerian youth. He added that most Nigerian youths have no iota of conscience left in them.
