21-year-old Nigerian singer Oyinkansola Aderibigbe professionally known as Ayra Starr has stated that unlike other people, she won't be starstruck if she met American singer Rihanna in person.
Ayra Starr said she has an inkling that she and Rihanna would instantly get along if they met so she wouldn't feel starstruck. She said the only female singer she would be starstruck for is Beyonce.
Anticipating her Grammy win, Ayra Starr said if she wins the Best African Music Performance category, she would celebrate by going to a Chinese restaurant and having a treat. Ayra Starr added that bagging a Grammy nomination at her age makes her feel proud of herself. Ayra Starr's song "Rush" is nominated for the Best African Music Performance category ahead of the 66th Grammy Awards which will be held tonight 4th February 2024.
