On Monday morning, fire razed down shops and goods at Katsina Central market, cause of the fire outbreak is still yet to be known.
There are reports that the outbreak was caused by exploded gas cylinders sold in a shop in the market, as a blast was heard.
The state Governor, Aminu Masari was at the venue to commiserate with traders as firefighters put off the fire.
