Late Mohbad's biological mother has said her son Aloba Promise Oladimeji popularly known as Mohbad was killed and he didn't die a natural death.
This is the first time Mohbad's mother will be speaking since the incident. Though many Nigerians have said the deceased mother isn't alive, she has come out to clarify that she is healthy and living.
She said whoever killed her son Promise will know no peace, will be sorrowful and the person's glory will forever be dimmed.
She revealed that ever since the incident with Naira Marley last year, Mohbad has known no peace and his mind has never been at rest.
She said when the NDLEA came to arrest the Marlians crew last year, her son wasn't there with them. He was recording in the studio until they called him to come over before he got arrested with them.
Mohbad's mother confirmed that her son was given a bottle of water to drink at the NDLEA office. She said after her son Mohbad drank the water, he couldn't remember what happened next.
She said her son's life has never remained the same since the incident. He lived in fear and was always in pain.
She gave an account of times when her son Mohbad couldn't go to shows because Naira Marley and his crew were going to be at the same event. She said they bullied her son to death and he never had peace of mind.
She also mentioned that there is a rumor spreading about the deceased that he had mental issues.
She clarified that her son didn't have mental health issues when he was alive.
