The media and communications director for The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi State, Mr Dayo Onibiyo, has resigned.

Mr Dayo dated his letter on 17th April and directed the letter of resignation to the chairman of the state who is Engr. Sam Ohotu.

Reports reveal that his decision and action to resign has nothing to do with the primary election which were conducted recently.

These elections which were held on the 15th of April, 2023 brought about Senator Dino Melaye as the winner of the governorship election in Kogi State.

His letter of resignation stated how he appreciates those who thought Jim worthy to serve in the position. He also thanked the party for all they have done.

He prayed that God blesses everyone as they would all soon meet in the field one day.

He also mentioned that they direct as appropriate who he should handover to.
