A Ugandan man lamented about how the Afrobeats music industry is being occupied by Nigerian artists. He said that Nigerian artists should please, allow other Afrobeats artists to get recognized.

In his not-so-clear accent, he spoke, "You Nigerians, it is high time you give us some breathing space. You need to give us some breathing space. You have occupied the whole music industry. We can't breathe. Someone may think the whole music industry is composed of Nigerians."

He further added that the new generation of Nigerian Afrobeat artists has overshadowed the artists in Uganda. While he lamented, Nigerians were happy to know the severity of the impacts that their artists were making in the music industry. It was a moment of joy as they further implored Nigerian Afro stars like Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, Rema, Shallipopi, Tiwa Savage, Fireboy, Joeboy, Asake, Seyi Vibez, and others to keep aiming for the stars.
