The street is no longer smiling as the majority of Nigerians nag about the high cost of living and the recent surge in the price of petrol. One @king_pearxe on Twitter said he buys a full tank for N15,000 in May compared to paying N55,000 in July.

One @Godwin_Officio even said he gets furious each time he drives because of the increase in fuel price. He advised Nigerians to be careful when crossing to avoid getting knocked down by drivers that are lost in thought. "I dey drive dey vex at the same time... Everybody should be very careful when crossing the road this period.. Most Drivers are angry and lost in thoughts."

To make matters worst, workers receive the same salary despite the high cost of living. That amongst other things has contributed to the frustrations. Those who were against voting Tinubu as President find every means to insult the BATifieds for the challenges Nigerians are facing ever since Tinubu became President.

One @omoiyakemi100 wrote, "Let the poor breath, don’t suffocate them. Now is even hard to breath we are dying." People were seen trekking in Ikeja due to the unavailability of buses in the area while some probably didn't have enough money for Tfare.

The video below shows how free Ikeja Road is. On a normal day, Ikeja Road would be packed with vehicles and heavy traffic. Due to the condition of the economy, some vehicle owners have limited how often they drive their cars.

Here is a video of the traffic-free Idumota road.
