Following the arrest of over 60 gay suspects at a same-sex wedding in Delta State, Nollywood actress Georgina Onuoha has told the police to leave the gays alone because they are not criminals.
She took to her Instagram page to call out the police force for apprehending them stating clearly that they didn't steal or kill anyone.
She talked about the ignorance of Nigerians about people's sexual orientation. She said they are quick to judge others when they are sinners themselves.
She expressed that most Christians who judge people don't understand the meaning of Christianity because they think being gay is a different sin from other types of sin.
She asked them to hold their politicians and pastors accountable instead of policing others for how they live their lives.
She concluded by saying she isn't endorsing the way they live but she is all about their humanity.
