Seyi Makinde, Governor of Oyo State encourages party members of the People's Democratic Party to put aside the past and focus on things that will unite them.

In his statement, it was obvious that some party members had unresolved disputes over the concluded elections. He urged everyone to work hand in hand to enhance the growth and success of the party.

This news was disclosed to the public by Makinde's Chief Press Secretary, Sulaimon Olanrewaju, on Sunday.

The Governor further reiterated that regardless of the election results, Nigeria remains our dear country. Therefore, without the existence of the country, there would be no PDP or any opposition party.

“Let me conclude by saying that the government will come and go, but our country will remain. And, as a responsible opposition party, we must, where it is required, do things in the interest of this country. This is because if there is no Nigeria, there is no us." Makinde says.
