Life in the US is difficult, US-based Nigerian lady says
A US-based Nigerian lady narrated why living in the United States isn't as rosy as many people think it is. She said that living in the US is difficult because all she does is work endlessly without taking a day off.
She said that a lot of people in Nigeria easily believe that those living abroad are plucking money from a tree and living the dream life. However, in most cases, that is untrue. What the majority of people are doing is working a 12-hour shift all week and once they return home, they'd barely have the time to prepare healthy meals for themselves.
The lady who claimed to be a basketballer said she appreciates living in America and she isn't complaining to discourage others from relocating there. However, she just had to put it out there to those who believe that any member of their family residing in the US is automatically rich.
