Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed the Premier League will be kept at the Emirates on the final matchday on Sunday, May 19, 2024.

Speaking to the Spanish media, Arteta said: “This is the nice part, fighting for the title until the last day.

“It will be the first time that the Premier League trophy will be there waiting at the Emirates since it was built, with red ribbons on it, because if we win and they don’t, it’s ours.”

Arsenal dragged the Premier League title race to the final day following a narrow 1-0 victory over Manchester United in their penultimate Premier League fixture.

However, Tottenham Hotspur failed to force challengers and serial champions Manchester City to drop points after they stumble to a 2-0 defeat at home.
