Nigerian music producer Olumide Ogunade popularly known as ID Cabasa said that late Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba popularly known as Mohbad had already died before he eventually died.
Mohbad's death took the entire world by shock as his demise was announced on 12th September, 2023.
ID Cabasa stated that the separation between Mohbad's parents affected his life. He implied that if his parents were together, things would have taken a different turn. He stated, "Have you not noticed the same trajectory that his mother and father weren't together?"
He said in a family setting, the children learn from the actions of the parents instead of what they hear them say. He said, "Africans are wired to see and do. We learn from what we see our parents do. Why do you think there's competition?"
ID Cabasa gave an example of what happens in African homes where the children are asked to share a piece of meat into two or three while the adults in the house are given a large piece of meat to eat. He implied that corruption starts from the home.
