After the picture of Mohbad's petition surfaced online, the Nigeria Police Force revealed that they couldn't do anything about the case because the singer failed to provide evidence.
The police said Sam Larry was invited for questioning at Zone 2, Alagbon but Mohbad refused to show up at the time.
They revealed that Sam Larry also filed a petition laying allegations of defamation of character against the late singer.
They said ever since, Mohbad refused to show up at the police station, give account on what happened and also provide evidence of the allegations.
The police said though the petition was filed, they were unable to go ahead with it because there was no evidence backing up the claims.
They said they were waiting for the evidence from Mohbad so they could continue their investigation and bring the lawyers on board who will charge the suspects to court.
