Controversial media personality Daniel Regha has told singer David Adeleke aka Davido that N300M shouldn't be his annual contribution to the nation despite its ailing economy.

Following Davido's announcement on social media yesterday, Daniel Regha belittled the singer's philanthropic efforts, stating that the last donation he made in 2021 wasn't well accounted for. He also pointed out that Davido is yet to fulfill the N20M pledge he made in a giveaway online. He called out Davido for donating a whopping sum of N300M to orphanages while owing the likes of former NFF President Amaju Pinnick.

Daniel Regha said this is why Nigerian politicians get away with their atrocities because there is no value system in place. He maintained that while it is good to help the needy, N300M is too small to be a yearly contribution. He advised Davido to engage in unbiased political discussions about the current state of the nation. Daniel Regha added that celebrities should use their influence to speak up for the masses and call out Nigerian politicians.
