Four of five sisters kidnapped and held captive by a group of abductors in Bwari, Abuja finally reunited with their family following their release on Saturday, 21st January 2024.
Recall that the five girls and their father were kidnapped by a group of bandits in their home in Abuja a few weeks ago. The father of the five girls was released by the bandits to go in search of a N60M ransom to get his daughters back.
Seeing that their father couldn't meet their demands, his eldest daughter Nabeeha was killed by the bandits, and her corpse was sent home to the father.
A video of the four girls and their family members rejoicing has been making the rounds online since yesterday. However, we are not sure whether the girls were rescued by the security agencies or were released after the hefty ransom was paid.
