The National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) Lagos State Council, has released an official press statement stating that the nurse who injected the late Mohbad is unregistered.

The press release was signed on the 22nd of September by the association's secretary Toba Odumosu.

They started by sending their heartfelt condolences to the family of Mohbad and sent prayers to the mourning family. The statement further stated that NANNM has been monitoring the investigation and has recognized that the nurse who attended to the late musician is not registered under the association.

It further stated that critical verifications of professionalism should be conducted before labeling anyone a healthcare provider. In short, no misrepresentation of the nursing profession would be tolerated.
