The National Correctional Services (NCOS) has debunked rumors of moving Bobrisky from the Ikoyi custodial center to Kirikiri Maximum Prison.
Rumors circulating online said Bobrisky has been transferred to Kirikiri Maximum Prison to serve his six-month jail term. The NCOS has clarified that the crossdresser who was jailed for mutilation of Naira notes and money laundering is still in Ikoyi prison.
They said Bobrisky's crime doesn't warrant capital punishment. Therefore, there is no need for him to be transferred to a maximum security prison since he wasn't given a death sentence or life imprisonment.
