Femi Babafemi, a spokesperson of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has spoken up about the accusations laid on the agency. One of Mohbad's trending videos showed the deceased complaining about being arrested by the NDLEA alongside his friends. He also stated that he was forced to drink a substance from a bottle.

After bloggers called out the NDLEA agency to defend what had transpired, Femi Babafemi debunked the news and claimed that the agency neither arrested nor detained Mohbad. Meanwhile, the circulated video is evidence of the maltreatment that the deceased faced at the hands of some NDLEA officials.

Nigerians are not smiling as they are determined to unravel the cause of Mohbad's death and leave no stone unturned.
