We finally have a decent news from the Nigerian Stock Exchange. Nestle Nigeria Plc has announced a payment of n28.1 Billion in dividends to investors.

  • Shareholders whose names appear on the registrar of members as of 21st of May, 2021 will be considered.
  • Qualifying Shareholders must have completed the e-dividend registration and must have mandated the Registrar (Greenwich Registrars) to pay their dividends directly into their bank accounts.
  • In line with this, the register of shareholders will be closed from 24th of May to 28th May 2021, to enable the registrar to process the dividends of Nestle’s shareholders.
 
Nestle is a stock for millionaires, billionaires and institutional / fòreign investors.

What about wen one need cash,I bought Jst 2000 units at #450 nd sold at #800+ wen I needed cash,but since den have nt been able to key in
 
Offcourse when you need money, you need money. That baba took 20million naira instead of selling his shares. He's paid it off and still have hos shares which have doubled in value minus dividends oo.
Like you can see, the problem with selling is that the price might just balloon beyond your reach and you can't enter again ☹️
 
Dividends and bonuses alone have taken care of it. You obviously don't know Nestle history. That's why those that own it are diehard elderly men who see it as retirement benefits. They rarely sell. Its their children that sell when they are late
