NGX Market Report for January 30, 2025: Trading Volume Rises by 19% as Market Capitalization Hits NGN 64.7 Trillion

The Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) closed Thursday’s trading session on January 30, 2025, with a total of 497.36 million shares traded across 13,716 deals, amounting to a market value of NGN 11.84 billion.

Compared to the previous trading day (Wednesday, January 29, 2025), the market saw a 19% increase in trading volume, although turnover declined by 12%, and the number of deals dropped by 16%. The current market capitalization stands at NGN 64.7 trillion.
