Caroline Adepoju is the present Comptroller General of the Nigerian Immigration Services.

She recently addressed the shortages experienced in passport issuance to Nigerians. She said that more passport offices will be established in Lagos to tackle the problems.

That will help to limit the numerous complaints from the citizens.

Caroline also warned against the hoarding of passports by immigration officers. She stressed that no applicants should experience delay, and any officer caught in illegal dealings will face punishments.

We all are aware that it is rampant to hear about passport scarcity in Nigeria, but CG Sanni Jega, the Deputy Comptroller of the Nigerian Immigration Services, debunked the news.

He said that passports are not scarce in Nigeria, and applicants should follow the due process to obtain theirs to avoid being duped by fraudsters.
