The Minister of the FCT Nyesom Wike said in an interview yesterday that Nigerians would have voted Peter Obi as president if he was a better choice than president Tinubu.
While talking to Channels Television yesterday, the ex-governor of Rivers State weighed in on Tinubu's administration and the decisions he has taken since he came into power on May 29.
The interviewer made a comment about people who think Peter Obi would have taken better decisions than Tinubu if he was elected president.
Wike firmly said he doesn't want to involve himself in any social media fracas, knowing fully well how combative Peter Obi's supporters, the Obidients are.
He went on to say he is only concerned about the current administration and to make the economy better.
When quizzed about how much he believes in president Tinubu, he replied saying, "It's not about belief. He has the capacity. Give him support, pray for him."
He said Nigerians don't like someone who makes hard decisions but he knows Tinubu is someone who is ready to step on toes to get what he wants.
He urged Nigerians to change their mindset and fully support the president in his endeavors.
"Why not give the president a chance? Give him support and change our attitude. Our mindset is so bad.",he added.
