Nurse On Duty Slumps And Dies In Zamfara Hospital
A nurse who works in Ahmed Sani Yariman Bakura specialist Hospital in Zamfara state slumped and died yesterday.
The hospital is located in Gusau in Zamfara State
The late nurse has been identified as Asma'u Lawali Bungudu.
Sources say she was doing okay when she resumed in the hospital that morning. They said she was hale and hearty as of yesterday morning which is March 15 2023.
One of the family members of the late nurse also confirmed that she was doing fine before leaving for work that day.
Mr Auwal Usman who is the Public Relations Officer of the hospital, said the late Nurse was on duty that day. She had checked about 30 patients that day. He mentioned that at some point she complained of a cardiac issue to a Doctor.
According to him, immediately after she made the complaint, she slumped.
Doctors sprung into action and tried to save her but she died instantly.
As mentioned by the Public Relations Officer, Dr Usman Muhammad shanawa who leads the management team of the Hospital have handed over the corpse of the late nursery to her family.
Her family mentioned she as going to be buried that same day and she was yesterday at 5 pm at the Malan Abdurrahaman House, in Magama Area, Bungudu.
