Ondo youths storm the street to protest against illegal arrests by the EFCC
The Ondo state youths came out in multitudes to protest against the rate of illegal arrests by the famous anti-graft agency, EFCC. They stormed the street with placards while chanting "EFCC stop stealing from us."
This protest was triggered by the recent arrest made by EFCC where they stormed different clubs in Ondo State in the early hours of the night to arrest 127 suspected fraudsters. They arrested every man on sight and carted away their expensive vehicles. This issue has brought deep worry into the minds of residents who no longer feel safe visiting recreational centers for fear of being arrested by the EFCC without concrete evidence.
Now, the Ondo state youths are calling upon the appropriate authorities to keep the EFCC in check and stop the massive raiding. And they tagged the illegal arrest as a move to steal from the youths.
