A pastor has been announced dead, four injured as a Dunamis church collapsed in Benue State.
According to reports, the church collapsed on Monday during a prayer session leaving four people injured and the pastor dead.
The church is situated at Mission Ward North Bank in Makurdi, Benue State. The eyewitness at the scene when the building collapsed rescued four victims who sustained injuries but found a man dead who was later identified as the pastor.
Reporting the incident, the Benue State Commissioner said, "Just one person died in the process. You know, when debris falls on people like that, the immediate reaction is what happens to the victims.
So people who rushed there were able to rescue four people, only one person died. The injured people are responding to treatment."
