The Nigerian Police Force has advised Nigerian landlords to carry out thorough investigations before renting out their apartments.
In a recent video posted on their official page, Police PPRO Olumuyiwa Adejobi urged citizens to ensure safety and security in their respective communities. To avoid any security issues, he advised landlords to contact the security agencies for the thorough profiling of all intending tenants to ensure they are who they claim to be.
He stated that most of these kidnappers rent an apartment to plant themselves in various cities to cause harm. He advised them to question everyone around them including scavengers in their community and community guards, and stay vigilant at all times.
